Your presence needed November 5, 2014 in support of repealing Common Core

Please attend the Ulster County Legislative Programs, Education & Community Services committee meeting tomorrow Wednesday November 5, 2014 to show support of Resolution No. 350 urging repeal of Common Core in New York State.

UPDATE 11/6/14:  Resolution No. 350 passed the committee and will be going to the full Ulster County legislature for a vote on November 18!  Please plan to attend the legislative session in the county building on Fair Street (Kingston NY) to show your support of this resolution.

Resolution No. 350 – Supporting The Reintroduction and Passage Of New York State Assembly Bill 07994 and Senate Bill 06267, An Act To Amend The Education Law, In Relation To The Common Core State Standards Initiative And The Race To The Top Program

The committee will meet at 5pm in the Howard C. St. John Business Seminar Room (Room 118), Clinton Building at SUNY Ulster.  Here is the committee agenda.
