I hope lots of parents are coming to tomorrow nights meeting. Last time was our children’s curriculum being discussed and a handful of parents came. So far I have only seen my third grade sons math and social studies curriculum. It is eye opening to see how drastically the curriculum has changed and also how confusing it is to our children. I have been trying to collect data on all four of my children and have been having a hard time even getting normal parent teacher conferences. We as kingston city school parents need to be aware of the basics of our children’s education. Our children’s teachers need us to advocate for our children because their voices have been silenced by the current administration. Please make tomorrow’s meeting a priority our children and their teachers need our attention to the details. Thank you.
